We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Financial Planning Analyst. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making across a global business. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining business intelligence dashboards, conducting detailed analysis, and supporting performance reporting across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain engaging, user-friendly dashboards in MicroStrategy, enabling self-service access to business-critical data.
• Enhance and streamline existing reporting tools to increase clarity, accuracy, and strategic value.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to define KPIs aligned with commercial and financial goals.
• Gain a deep understanding of operational, commercial, and financial datasets and their implications for business performance.
• Collaborate with the BI team to ensure the right data structures are in place within data cubes to support reporting needs.
• Conduct rigorous data validation, checks, and analysis to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Partner with stakeholders across departments to understand their analytical needs and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
• Champion the use of MicroStrategy reporting across the business and support end users in adoption and training.
• Deliver ad-hoc reporting and insights to support business decisions and strategic planning.
• Communicate complex data in a clear, visual, and actionable format tailored to a variety of audiences.

Experience
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with a highly numerate mindset.
• 2+ years of work experience in financial analysis, commercial analysis, or business intelligence roles.
• Minimum A/A in GCSE Maths (or equivalent); A-Level Maths preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent data visualisation and presentation capabilities.
• Passion for transforming raw data into meaningful business insights.
• Familiarity with BI tools (ideally MicroStrategy) or a strong willingness to learn.
