Job Responsibilities:
Provide holistic, independent financial advice to HNWIs, managing investments, pensions, estate planning, and protection solutions.
Conduct in-depth financial assessments to understand clients’ objectives and risk appetite.
Develop long-term relationships with clients, ensuring continuous engagement and service excellence.
Present complex financial strategies in a clear, concise manner to high-profile clients.
Advise on tax-efficient income withdrawal strategies for retirement planning.
Monitor and review client investment portfolios in accordance with their risk profiles and financial objectives.
Generate new business through referrals, direct client engagement, and intermediary networks.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling relevant financial products.
Develop partnerships with accountants, solicitors, and investment managers to enhance client offerings.
Deliver presentations and participate in networking events to attract new clients.
Adhere to FCA and HMRC regulations, ensuring ethical and compliant financial practices.
Conduct thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks.
Maintain accurate client records, ensuring compliance with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
Act in line with FCA Individual Conduct Rules, treating customers fairly and ensuring market integrity.
Regularly monitor portfolio performance, ensuring investments align with client goals.
Conduct market research and risk analysis to provide informed investment recommendations.
Stay updated on financial trends, tax legislation, and investment opportunities.
Experience
APFS, ACII, or equivalent qualification (Essential).
Proven experience as an FCA-approved Wealth Manager.
Strong working knowledge of FCA and HMRC regulations.
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage high-profile clients and provide bespoke financial solutions.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Analytical and investment expertise with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, with a proactive approach to client acquisition.
Must have own Limited company and existing client bank for tax purposes.
