Experience
Preferably qualified by apprenticeship or to C&G/ONC level.
Proven experience in a similar role with an M&E contractor or within the M&E division of a main contractor.
Demonstrated ability to estimate costs and timescales accurately to meet deadlines.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and analyse tender documents, including raising RFIs with clients.
- Perform take-offs in line with standard estimating conventions.
- Correspond with the supply chain and manage enquiries.
- Vet incoming tenders/offers from the supply chain to ensure the most viable options are included in submissions.
- Present costing approaches, project durations, and risks at tender adjudication meetings.
- Prepare tenders for internal adjudications.
- Submit tenders in a timely manner.
- Participate in project handovers to the operations team.
