Job Summary: The Desktop Management Analyst I is responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining systems that automate, measure, or manage standardized processes and tools within Technology and Operations. This role ensures smooth desktop software application and operating system functionality while providing support to IT users and assisting with audit requirements. Key Responsibilities: Perform tasks related to the configuration, testing, and/or delivery of desktop software applications and standardized operating system components and patches to production desktops. Provide support to IT users of desktop management tools, resolving simple technical issues. Offer Level III Helpdesk support to resolve application issues, leveraging expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Interface with software vendors to resolve desktop toolset issues of simple to moderate complexity. Test the functionality of new desktop management software tools under evaluation, as per direction. Assist with audit requirements as requested by other team members. Provide assistance in performing Level I systems administration of selected desktop management applications. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study. Minimum of 1 year experience with PC, computer networking, or telecommunications, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in troubleshooting software/hardware issues and working with software products. Strong familiarity with database management, software configuration, and operating systems. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with the following is highly preferred: Azure AD Intune VMWare Horizon Softphones Certifications: Any relevant certifications in desktop management tools or systems administration are a plus. Education: Bachelors Degree
