Are you an organised, people-focused administrator looking to build your career in HR? We are working with an established, values-led organisation to recruit an HR Administrator who will provide essential support across its people operations. This is a busy and varied opportunity covering the full employee journey. You’ll help coordinate everything from payroll information, employee records and HR documentation to inductions, mandatory training, benefits and wellbeing activities. Accuracy, confidentiality and follow-through are vital. You’ll be trusted with sensitive information and will help ensure that important processes are completed properly, consistently and on time. The role will include:

  • Supporting payroll, pension and employee benefit administration
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential HR records
  • Preparing employee letters and documentation
  • Coordinating induction, role-change and exit processes
  • Monitoring one-to-ones, performance, attendance and absence activity
  • Assigning mandatory training and tracking completion
  • Supporting employee screening and compliance processes
  • Helping to coordinate engagement, wellbeing and workplace activities
  • Supporting office health and safety administration
  • Providing additional administrative support where required

About you:

You’ll be a dependable and approachable administrator who enjoys bringing order to a busy environment. You’ll be comfortable balancing different priorities, communicating with people at all levels and taking responsibility for seeing tasks through.

We’re looking for:

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to handle confidential information sensitively
  • Confidence managing deadlines and competing priorities
  • Good Microsoft Office and general IT skills
  • A calm and professional approach under pressure
  • The confidence to work both independently and collaboratively

Previous HR administration experience would be advantageous, although a strong administrative background, sound judgement and a genuine interest in developing within HR could be equally valuable.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive organisation, gain broad exposure to HR and play an important role in creating a positive employee experience.
