We’re recruiting for one of Northampton’s leading independent estate agencies, looking for an experienced and highly organised Branch Administrator to join their established team.This is a key role at the heart of the business, supporting both the Estate Agency and Auction operations.
It’s fast-paced, varied and ideal for someone who takes pride in getting things right and enjoys being the person everyone can rely on to keep things moving.
What you’ll be doing...
You’ll provide wide-ranging administrative support across the branch, including:
- Preparing property particulars, valuation letters, contracts and Memorandums of Sale
- Managing appointments, diaries and CRM information
- Coordinating EPCs, floor plans and property documentation
- Managing invoicing, spreadsheets and administrative records
- Completing and recording AML and identification checks
- Answering enquiries and arranging viewings and valuations
- Liaising with clients, buyers, vendors, solicitors and other third parties
You’ll also play an important role in the Auction operation, helping to prepare property particulars, catalogues and legal packs, liaising with solicitors and ensuring everything is ready for auction day. You’ll support the Auctioneer during auctions, including recording bids and assisting with contracts and deposits.
About you...
Above all, we’re looking for a really strong administrator – someone proactive, capable and comfortable taking ownership.
You’ll be:
- Exceptionally organised with great attention to detail
- Confident juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proactive and able to think on your feet
- A confident communicator with a great telephone manner
- Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and Excel
- Calm under pressure and happy working as part of a busy team
Previous estate agency, property, conveyancing or auction experience would be a great advantage but we’re equally interested in experienced administrators from other fast-paced, detail-driven environments who can quickly get to grips with the property world.

Salary: Circa £30,000–£35,000 DOE
Location: Moulton Park - Northampton
Working pattern: Full-time Monday to Friday 9-5, plus alternate Saturdays. Saturday working forms part of the contracted hours and has been reflected within the advertised salary.
