Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys building trusted relationships, coaching managers and helping to create positive workplace outcomes?

Four Talent is delighted to be working exclusively with our client to appoint a HR Advisor to play a key role in delivering a proactive, customer-focused People service and supporting the organisation's ambition to create an inclusive, engaging and high-performing workplace.

Working closely with the HR Business Partners and People Shared Services team, you'll become a trusted advisor to managers, providing practical guidance across the employee lifecycle. From navigating employee relations matters and supporting organisational change, to contributing to People projects and continuous improvement initiatives, you'll play an important role in shaping a positive employee experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coach and support managers through a broad range of people matters, including sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, flexible working and workplace conflict.
  • Provide practical guidance on employment law, People policies and HR best practice to ensure fair, consistent and compliant decision-making.
  • Support organisational change, restructures and consultation processes.
  • Partner with colleagues across the People team to deliver key People initiatives, including performance, learning and development, engagement and wellbeing.
  • Produce HR data and insights to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of People policies, processes and projects that enhance the employee experience.

What we're looking for:

  • You'll be an experienced HR Advisor with a strong generalist background and proven experience supporting managers through a wide range of employee relations matters within an in-house environment.
  • You'll have excellent knowledge of UK employment law, be confident building credible relationships with stakeholders at all levels and enjoy coaching managers to achieve positive people outcomes.
  • You'll be organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities while delivering an exceptional People service.
  • CIPD qualified, part-qualified or working towards qualification is desirable.
  • Most importantly, you'll be passionate about creating a workplace where people feel included, supported and empowered to perform at their best.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a warm, supportive and purpose-led organisation, where you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional People service.

Alongside a salary of circa £40,000, you'll benefit from an excellent pension scheme, Bupa healthcare, 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, enhanced family-friendly benefits, and a hybrid working model, typically spending 2 days per week on site.

We recommend applying as soon as possible, as screening and interviews will begin shortly.
