Paraplanner

Hybrid | Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits

If you're a technically strong Paraplanner looking for a role where your expertise is genuinely valued, this opportunity offers the chance to work closely with experienced Financial Planners, influence client outcomes and continue progressing towards Chartered status within a supportive and professional environment.

Joining a well-established and highly respected wealth management business who are investing heavily in the growth of their client book, you'll play a pivotal role in the advice process, transforming complex client information into clear, tailored recommendations. You'll be trusted to contribute to strategy discussions, undertake detailed research and provide the technical insight that helps deliver exceptional client outcomes.

This is far more than a report-writing position. You'll collaborate with advisers, compliance specialists and operational teams, taking ownership of technical analysis, provider research and suitability report production while helping to drive consistently high standards across the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Producing high-quality, personalised suitability reports
  • Analysing client information and identifying additional research requirements
  • Conducting technical research across pensions, investments, tax planning solutions and providers
  • Working closely with Financial Planners to develop suitable client recommendations
  • Supporting due diligence and provider reviews
  • Assisting with complex client queries and technical matters
  • Liaising with compliance and administration teams to ensure a seamless advice process
  • Contributing to ongoing projects, research initiatives and business improvements
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulation, products and industry developments

What we're looking for

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Experience within a Paraplanning role in a regulated financial planning environment (1+ years)
  • Strong report-writing and research capabilities
  • Good knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning products
  • A solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Why join?

This is an opportunity to become part of a business that actively invests in professional development and recognises the importance of technical expertise within the advice process.

Alongside a competitive salary, you'll benefit from:

Pension scheme

Private healthcare

Generous holiday entitlement

Ongoing professional development support

Dedicated time each month for relevant CPD activities

A collaborative and supportive team environment

Long-term career progression opportunities

1 day a week working from home

For Paraplanners who enjoy solving complex challenges, influencing advice outcomes and continuing their journey towards Chartered status, this is an excellent next step.
