Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and teens with autism. Our mission is to create a positive impact in the lives of our clients and their families, and we are looking for a BCBA who shares this passion and is eager to contribute to a supportive, collaborative team environment. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and supervising a team of behavior technicians to ensure the highest standard of care.
Experience
Qualifications:
Required: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
At least 2 years of professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), preferably in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Strong adherence to the BACB Ethical Code, HIPAA practices, and company policies.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and move freely between seated and standing positions as required in the role.
Preferred: Experience working with children with ASD in an ABA therapy environment.
Experience in developing individualized behavior intervention plans.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Essential for Living, Functional Assessments, and Functional Analysis to evaluate clients' needs.
- Develop comprehensive reports, including functional behavior assessments, individual treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and discharge summaries.
- Provide behavioral skills training to direct care staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to implement ABA interventions effectively.
- Monitor client progress regularly using visual analysis and make data-driven program adjustments when necessary.
- Supervise and train behavior technicians in the implementation of individualized ABA programs and interventions.
- Develop and customize programming for each client, focusing on their unique needs and goals, while also involving and supporting caregivers.
- Ensure compliance with ethical practices, HIPAA guidelines, and company policies at all times.
