About the Role
They are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join the growing team. You’ll play a key role in managing project costs, ensuring value for money, and supporting the delivery of high-quality builds. This is an excellent opportunity to work across diverse and inspiring projects, collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and design teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost plans, budgets, and estimates for construction projects.
- Manage the measurement, valuation, and certification of works.
- Lead procurement activities and negotiate contracts for best value.
- Monitor project costs, identify risks, and recommend value-engineering solutions.
- Support contract administration and final account settlements.
- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain accurate financial records and produce cost reports.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within the construction sector.
- Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and tendering.
- Proficiency with estimating and project management software.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Highly organised, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Able to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.
