Electrician Portsmouth, Hampshire Full-Time A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join a well-established and expanding mechanical and electrical engineering firm. The company operates across a wide range of sectors including Defence, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Government Agencies. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installations as part of wider building services projects, working closely with engineers, project managers and site teams. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical installation work on commercial and industrial projects Install and test systems in accordance with the latest wiring regulations (BS 7671) Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Work effectively as part of a site team and liaise with other trades Assist in commissioning and handover of completed systems Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety Ensure all tasks are completed to schedule and within budget Travel to project sites across the UK and abroad as required About You Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (essential) ECS/JIB Gold Card (preferred) Test and Inspection Experience working on commercial or industrial installations Good knowledge of Health & Safety and safe systems of work Able to work from technical drawings and specifications Excellent communication and teamworking skills Full UK driving licence Security clearance would be beneficial What’s on Offer £40,000 - £45,000 Overtime opportunities Bonus scheme Company vehicle Company mobile and tablet Death-in-service benefit Long-term career development in a growing business If you’re a skilled Electrician looking for varied, challenging work within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
