We're working with an established architectural practice in Darlington with over 30 years of history and a wealth of experience across its team. The practice delivers a full architectural service across the care, residential, industrial and commercial sectors, offering exposure to projects from initial concept through to technical delivery and completion.

With a growing team and a partner-led structure, this is an opportunity to join a practice where you'll work closely with the partners, have a genuine input into projects and develop your responsibilities as the business continues to grow.

The Role

You'll contribute to a varied portfolio of projects, producing technical drawings and construction documentation while working alongside the wider design team. There's also scope to progress into a Job Runner role, taking greater ownership of projects and becoming a key point of contact for clients, consultants and contractors.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience producing technical drawings and construction documentation within an architectural practice.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, alongside a good understanding of BIM workflows.
  • A sound understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction methods and technical detailing.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach, with the ability to contribute across different project stages.
  • A full UK driving licence would be beneficial, as site visits form part of the role.

What's on Offer?

  • £32,000–£45,000 salary, dependent on experience.
  • Paid annual leave.
  • Professional development and genuine career progression opportunities.
  • The opportunity to develop into a Job Runner role with increasing project responsibility.
  • A diverse project portfolio spanning multiple sectors.
  • A supportive, collaborative team with direct access to the partners.
  • A modern office base within an established, growing and award-recognised practice.
