Associate Interior Designer | London | £50,000–£60,000

We are recruiting on behalf of a design studio for an Associate Interior Designer to join their London team.

It's a close knit studio, around 15 to 18 people across London and Manchester, with a satellite office in New York. This is a senior, hands on role, you'll lead design delivery across multiple projects, from a 100 bedroom hotel scheme to smaller works, while mentoring a team of designers and playing a genuine part in practice decisions and development alongside the exec team. You won't lose touch with the creative side either, this role keeps you close to the design itself, hands on and contributing to projects, not just overseeing from a distance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading projects from concept through to completion, working closely with the Creative Director and Ops Director.
• Overseeing and mentoring a design team across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Driving concept, developed and tender design stages, including space planning, FF&E and material selection.
• Managing technical delivery, from drawing sign off to site installation and snagging.·       Presenting concepts and design solutions directly to clients.
• Contributing to wider practice decisions and development alongside the exec team.

What We're Looking For

• Strong project leadership experience within an interior design studio, ideally hospitality or F&B led.
• Excellent technical knowledge, including space planning, materiality and building regulations.
• A confident, polished communicator who can present and sell in design concepts to clients.
• Experience mentoring and managing a design team.
• A genuine passion for sensory, experience driven design.
