Job Summary

BIM Manager | Manchester City Centre

We are delighted to be working a forward thinking employee-owned Architecture studio to recruit a BIM Manager to join their talented team in the heart of Manchester. This is a genuinely exciting role within a practice that has built a well-deserved reputation for delivering thoughtful, high-quality design across some of the UK's most complex and meaningful project types.

The company is a multi-faceted architectural practice with deep expertise spanning healthcare, residential, education, masterplanning, and commercial sectors. Their portfolio is impressively broad, from major trauma centres and emergency departments at NHS trusts across the North to award-worthy residential and mixed-use schemes.

With a growing domestic and international healthcare portfolio, a carbon reduction commitment, and a design philosophy rooted in pragmatic, holistic thinking, this is a practice with real purpose. This isn't just a job, it's an opportunity to shape how a forward-thinking studio delivers and manages information.

As BIM Manager, you will take ownership of BIM strategy, standards, and delivery, acting as the central point of expertise across the practice. Working closely with project teams and leadership, you will drive quality, consistency, and compliance across all stages of the design process.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the practice's BIM standards, protocols, and templates (in line with ISO 19650)
  • Managing and auditing BIM models across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring data integrity and coordination
  • Leading internal BIM training and upskilling across the studio
  • Acting as the key point of contact for BIM-related queries from clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Driving the adoption of new digital workflows and tools in collaboration with project leads
  • Supporting the development of project-specific BEPs (BIM Execution Plans)
  • Staying ahead of industry developments in BIM, digital construction, and information management

The starting salary will pay in the region of £50,000-£65,000 plus a strong company package.
