We are seeking a versatile Mid-to-Senior level HR Generalist to take ownership of the full HR function for a growing company in the private aviation sector. Operating as a standalone practitioner, you will manage end-to-end HR processes across two primary sites in Gauteng. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys a mix of operational and administrative HR, with the support of an external labor attorney for complex legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full talent acquisition cycle, from job posting and interviewing to the seamless integration of new hires.
2. Employee Relations & IR: Handle day-to-end disciplinary matters and employee grievances. While you will lead internal processes, you will have access to a labor attorney on retainer for guidance on complex labor issues.
3. Compliance & Policy: Ensure all HR practices remain compliant with South African labor legislation and internal company standards.
4. HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and manage general HR documentation.
5. Dual-Site Coordination: Maintain a presence at both Lanseria and OR Tambo offices as required.

RequirementsExperience:

• 3 to 6 years of experience in a Generalist HR role (Candidates in the Mid-Level to Senior bracket).
• Industry Exposure: Previous experience in aviation, logistics, or hospitality is highly advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., SAGE or PaySpace) is preferred.
• Standalone Capability: Ability to work independently and manage the HR function without daily oversight.
• IR Knowledge: Hands-on experience with disciplinary procedures and some exposure to CCMA processes.
• Mobility: Must have reliable transport to travel between Lanseria and OR Tambo.
