We’re hiring on behalf of a global digital tech client that moves quickly, builds properly and expects senior engineers to own their craft.

They want a Senior Frontend Developer who can take a brief, see the gaps and ship something solid.If you care about clean architecture, performance that actually holds up in the real world, and code that another developer can read without sweating, keep reading.

The role

You’ll be hands-on from day one. This isn’t a ceremonial senior title. You’ll be building complex frontend solutions, making sensible technical decisions, and setting the tone for how things are done. You’ll work across sophisticated Shopify builds, custom themes, integrations, API-heavy features, and make sure what goes live is fast, stable and commercially sound.

Day to day,

• Building advanced frontend solutions using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Developing and extending Shopify themes using Liquid
• Working with APIs to integrate third-party systems cleanly
• Stress-testing performance and fixing bottlenecks before users ever see them
• Reviewing code and raising the bar across the team
• Working closely with Design, product and other devs to make sure the frontend isn’t an afterthought
• You’ll be expected to challenge weak ideas, simplify over-engineered ones, and back your decisions with experience.

What they’re looking for

• You’ve done this before, properly. Strong commercial frontend experience
• Deep Shopify expertise - Liquid, APIs, custom builds
• Expert-level HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• A sharp eye for performance, scalability and maintainability

Desirable / Non-essential

• Experience with React Next.js),TypeScript and Tailwind is useful.
