HOUSING DISREPAIR SOLICITOR (several roles) Manchester or Liverpool

An established housing litigation team is looking for qualified Solicitors to manage a caseload of pre and post-litigated housing disrepair claims on behalf of tenants.

- Run your own caseload from first instructions through to conclusion- Draft Letters of Claim and review housing records and surveyor reports- Negotiate settlements and issue proceedings where needed- Work closely with counsel and clients in a busy volume litigation environment

Housing disrepair experience is preferred, although strong contentious litigation backgrounds will also be considered. Applications welcome from NQs through to experienced Solicitors.

HOUSING DISREPAIR TEAM LEADER (does not need to be qualified)Manchester

An established housing litigation team is looking for an experienced Team Leader to manage and support a team handling pre and post-litigated housing disrepair claims on behalf of tenants.

- Oversee caseload performance and keep claims moving to settlement or conclusion- Give technical guidance and be the go-to person for the team- Support, coach and develop staff- Help shape how the team runs as it grows

Strong housing disrepair or volume litigation experience is required, along with previous supervisory or team management experience. Open to both qualified Solicitors and experienced non-qualified candidates.

CRIMINAL / REGULATORY SOLICITOR (EPA Prosecutions) Manchester

A growing litigation team is looking for a qualified Solicitor with criminal prosecution or defence experience to handle Environmental Protection Act prosecutions against private and social landlords.

- Manage cases from pre-prosecution through to trial, settlement or conviction- Regular advocacy in the Magistrates Court- Handle disclosure, defence statements and prosecution files- Liaise with counsel while running your own caseload

Ideal for someone organised, confident under pressure and comfortable handling litigation from start to finish.

DEBT RECOVERY SOLICITOR Liverpool

An established enforcement and debt recovery team is looking for a qualified Solicitor to manage a caseload of recovery and enforcement matters.

- Run your own files from pre-action through to judgment and enforcement- Choose and apply the right enforcement route for each case- Prepare applications and deal with the courts and enforcement agents- Keep clients updated and focused on getting results

Suited to someone with debt recovery, enforcement or commercial litigation experience who likes seeing a matter through to a measurable result.

LEGAL COMPLIANCE AND QUALITY AUDITOR Manchester

A hands-on role checking the quality and compliance of legal files within a busy litigation firm.

- Carry out desk-based audits of fee earner files- Check work against regulatory, procedural and internal standards- Give clear feedback to fee earners and help put improvements in place- Report findings and support the firm's wider compliance and quality work

Suits someone with a legal compliance, risk, file audit or quality background who enjoys detail and wants to make a real difference to how a firm works. Not a solicitor role, so you don't need to be qualified.

FEE EARNERS AND PARALEGALS (several roles) Housing Disrepair, Breach of Contract and Enforcement Manchester and Liverpool

Experienced Fee Earners and Paralegals are needed for several teams. You don't need to be qualified, just experienced at running your own files.

- Housing Disrepair: claimant claims for damp, mould, leaks and structural issues- Breach of Contract: enforcing settlement agreements where landlords haven't completed agreed works- Enforcement: recovering money for clients once judgment is in place (Liverpool)
