A well-established, independent country house hotel near Chichester is recruiting a Chef de Partie to join its talented kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chef de Partie to work within a quality-driven kitchen, known for delivering refined, seasonal dishes in a relaxed yet professional environment.

This Chef de Partie position offers the chance to work with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, supporting a team focused on high standards of presentation and consistency. Ideally, the Chef de Partie will have experience working to 2 Rosette standards, although the business is open to developing a Chef de Partie who shows genuine passion, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

Running a designated section as a Chef de Partie, ensuring consistency and quality at all times.

Preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard in line with the kitchen’s expectations.

Supporting senior chefs and mentoring junior team members where required.

Maintaining excellent hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organisation standards.

Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a smooth service.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.

Experience within a 2 Rosette or similar standard kitchen preferred.

Passion for fresh, seasonal produce and high-quality cooking.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-focused attitude.

Own transport preferred due to location, although public transport is available nearby.
