A well-regarded and busy hotel in Hertford is seeking a Chef de Partie to provide short-term cover across April.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong CDP to step into a fast-paced kitchen and support an established brigade during a busy trading period.
The Chef de Partie will be responsible for running their section during service, maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene. This role suits a reliable and organised chef who can hit the ground running and work confidently within a professional kitchen environment.
Shift Pattern (April):
1st – 4th April: 12:00pm – 10:00pm.
5th April: 12:00pm – 8:00pm.
8th – 11th April: 12:00pm – 10:00pm.
12th April: 12:00pm – 8:00pm.
15th – 18th April: 12:00pm – 10:00pm.
19th April: 12:00pm – 8:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:·
Run a designated section during service with confidence and consistency.
Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard in line with the kitchen’s expectations.
Ensure all prep is completed efficiently ahead of service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your section at all times.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality kitchen.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen standards.
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the required dates.
A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
