Job Title: Children’s Residential Support Worker

Location: Staffordshire

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per year + £60 per sleep-in

Connective Career Pathways are currently recruiting Children’s Residential Support Workers for a residential children’s service in Staffordshire.This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people within a safe, stable and nurturing home environment. You will play an important role in helping young people build confidence, develop life skills and achieve positive outcomes.The role offers a clear career pathway within residential childcare, with ongoing training and opportunities for progression.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting children and young people with their day-to-day routines

Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional well being

Building positive and trusting relationships with young people

Supporting education, activities and independence skills

Working as part of a team to maintain a safe and supportive home environment#

Requirements:

A caring, reliable and resilient approach

A genuine passion for supporting children and young people

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or an equivalent qualification recognised by Ofsted)

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Previous experience in a residential childcare setting is desirable
