The Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents/patients with their day-to-day needs while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
• Supporting mobility and helping residents remain active
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with meals, hydration, and medication support where required
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions
• Maintaining accurate records and care documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
• Ensuring a safe and clean environment at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
• A caring, empathetic, and professional approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability and a positive attitude
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is advantageous
• Right to work in the UK
