The role: Customer Service Advisor

You’ll support customers by providing efficient, effective solutions whether that’s setting up new accounts quickly or helping resolve queries for larger commercial clients.


As a Customer Service  Advisor, you’ll take ownership of each interaction, ensuring queries are resolved and challenges are handled smoothly so that homes and businesses across the UK receive the service they need, when they need it.


Day to day, you will:

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer queries via phone, email, and web chat
  • Resolve a wide range of enquiries including account setup, billing queries, deliveries, and pricing
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues, ensuring a positive outcome every time
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding queries and keep customers updated
  • Process account changes, payments, and service requests accurately
  • Build strong relationships with customers, delivering a high level of service at every touch point
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve more complex queries
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and suggest process improvements
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and actions taken
  • Support complaint handling, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner


From deliveries to pricing, you’ll act as a trusted advisor and confident negotiator, keeping things running efficiently even in busy periods. You’ll also work closely with your team, supporting each other to deliver the best outcomes.


What we’re looking for

  • Experience in a customer-focused role, supporting and resolving queries
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and good MS Office skills
  • Clear communication skills across phone, email, and web chat
  • Confidence working with numbers (e.g. billing, pricing)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • A proactive, team-focused approach
