SUMMARY COMPASS Staffing is currently interviewing for a professional Service Desk/ IT Support Specialist resource with 2-3 years of IT services and support experience in a Windows environment. The IT Support Specialist we be part of a support team working in a very dynamic and ever-changing environment. Primary responsibilities including supporting our in-house staff as well as our client’s locations. This position requires 25% travel in Ocean County, NJ RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities:  Support users by diagnosing, and resolving or correcting hardware, OS and software issues.  Supports end users, diagnose, report, and resolve application problems.  Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware/software according to company standards; reconfigures existing systems and or performs system upgrades as required.  Logs all issues with appropriate documentation as requested.  Routes calls to appropriate support teams as per described troubleshooting steps.  Monitors and escalates issues until resolution, closure or the appropriate group has accepted.  Level II trouble shooting  Microsoft Office Suite  Customer service oriented QUALIFICATIONS  -Minimum 2-3 years’ experience providing help desk support and/or network administration duties  -Basic knowledge of computer repair such as: supporting all current releases of Windows Operating System, Virus/Malware/Spyware detection and removal, experience providing help desk support to users via telephone/email/remotely  -Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows server operating systems, Microsoft exchange server application (current versions), Microsoft Windows Client Operating Systems (current versions), Microsoft Office Suites (current version) specifically Microsoft Outlook.  -Basic knowledge of routers, switches, access points, network printers and other common small business network devices.
