Graphic designer
The Graphic designer supports the various political and fundraising teams by developing, refining, and enhancing the organization’s graphical brand identity and visual messaging across a variety of platforms.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Artwork Creation
The Graphic Designer’s primary role is to support NAGR’s multiple fundraising and grassroots lobbying teams by collaboratively creating top of the line artwork for
email, website, internet display, and social media
direct response mail materials
for mailing postcards, flyers, and brochures
for magazine and newsletter layouts
gear and other merchandising
Establishing and Overseeing the NAGR Brand
The Graphic Designer is charged with establishing and overseeing the NAGR brand including state affiliate brands.
Creative Direction
The Graphic Designer is to act as a creative developer by expanding the limits of the Organization’s visual messaging and propelling it beyond established paradigms.
Timely Production of Materials
Graphic Designers must manage their own work queue as well as the expectations of end user departments to produce art on a reliable timeline.
Graphic Designer Requirements:
3+ years of working experience as a graphic designer
Proficiency with design software- Adobe Creative Suite strongly preferred
Video editing skills are a plus
Knowledge of design techniques, such as balance, color theory, composition, typography, negative/ white space, and hierarchy
Ability to work well within a team
Time management skills
A talent for creativity and problem solving

Pay Range: $50,000 – $70,000
