Full-Stack Engineer – AI Reliability Platform
Location: In-person (NYC)
Compensation: $150,000 – $325,000 annual salary + equity + benefits
Visa Sponsorship: Available for exceptional candidates
Our client is on a mission to bring AI-based applications from proof-of-concept to production with a focus on safety, reliability, and continuous testing. They help organizations—from frontier AI labs to global enterprises—develop trustworthy, production-ready AI applications by proactively identifying risks through rigorous fuzz-testing and evaluation tooling.
They are seeking a talented and experienced full-stack engineer to help build and scale their AI reliability platform. In this role, you’ll own and develop customer-facing features that integrate advanced AI research, enabling users to test, verify, and deploy AI applications confidently and safely.
In this role, you will:
Drive end-to-end development of new features and tools on the AI reliability platform
Build reusable frontend components and intuitive visualizations for complex AI workflows
Work closely with the research team to integrate cutting-edge safety methodologies
Interface directly with customers to understand pain points and optimize user workflows using the client’s proprietary evaluation methodology
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 4+ years of experience building user-facing applications (experience with AI/ML tools is a plus)
Are skilled in modern web technologies like TypeScript and React
Are proficient in one or more of Python, Go, or Rust
Have experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB, Redis)
Take a pragmatic, outcome-driven approach to solving complex or ambiguous problems
Care deeply about user experience and building beautiful, functional interfaces
Are a generalist comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup environment
Bonus points if you:
Have experience as a product designer or product manager (formally or informally)
Have built LLM-based applications such as chatbots or autonomous agents
Have experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
