Job Summary
The Key Account Manager role is a middle-management sales-oriented role, reporting to the National Sales Manager for Modern Trade / Key Accounts. The role is in charge of general management, end-to-end strategy, and execution of all sales related activities in the key account and categories in scope.
Experience
Has 4 to 5+ years in sales handling national key accounts with head office engagement.
Preferably with FMCG background preferred, either as a distributor or principal.
Job Responsibilities
- Sales: Drives topline sales in the account
- Collections: Ensures timely collections of receivables from the account
- Profitability: Ensures profitability of the account by managing expenses, portfolio mix, trade discounts, and returns
