Brand new role is now available with a well-established, award-winning consultancy based locally to Huddersfield. They are looking to bring in an intermediate Building Surveyor who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You’ll join a growing team working across a varied portfolio of projects, including new-build residential schemes, refurbishment works, and cladding remediation projects.

The role offers the chance to combine technical Building Surveying expertise with hands-on Project Management responsibilities, working closely with clients, contractors, designers and wider project teams.

Your responsibilities:

• Acting as Contract Administrator and managing project delivery from inception through to completion
• Preparing specifications, schedules of work and technical reports
• Carrying out site inspections, quality checks and attending project meetings
• Managing contractors, consultants and project communications
• Supporting cost control, programme management and design coordination
• Providing CDM Consultant / Principal Designer duties, Party Wall Act surveys and property surveys
• Building strong client relationships and ensuring excellent service delivery

This is a great role for someone who enjoys a varied workload, client interaction and taking ownership of projects with a high level of autonomy.

Ideal Expeirence:

• RICS or CIOB accredited construction degree
• Post-qualification experience (ideally across new build and refurbishment projects)
• Experience delivering similar Building Surveying and Project Management services
• Confident managing clients, contractors and project teamsStrong communication, leadership and mentoring skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projectsFull UK driving licence
