Location: 100% Remote (California Bar license required; Pacific Time hours)
Compensation: $125,000 – $300,000 base salary + heavy billable performance bonuses

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Case Management: Manage defense cases from initial file opening through trial and appeal.
- Case Valuation & Strategy: Evaluate exposure early to provide strategic settlement recommendations or litigation strategies to clients.
- Client Relations: Partner closely with insurance adjusters, risk managers, and self-insured employers, maintaining a client-first communication style.
- Billable Performance: Achieve a monthly target of 220 billable hours, with lucrative bonus potential for excess hours and new client files.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active California Bar license in good standing (Required).
- Experience: 1+ years of legal practice in workers' compensation defense, civil litigation, or insurance defense.
- Education: J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Core Competencies: Excellent client-facing skills, a conservative and accurate approach to billing, and a track record of stability in past roles.
