Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented AutoCAD Specialist (Civil Engineer/Architect) to join our team. This role combines expertise in AutoCAD design, planning, and collaboration with a global team to create high-quality plans and designs for a variety of projects. You will play a key role in developing detailed and accurate designs, converting plans into PDFs, and supporting the team with Excel and Microsoft tools for project management and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed and accurate plans using AutoCAD.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure design accuracy and project alignment.
Convert plans into PDFs for distribution and collaboration with the team.
Work with Excel to track project timelines, resources, and costs.
Provide ongoing support for project updates and modifications.
Communicate effectively with a global team, ensuring that all plans and documentation meet the required standards.
Ensure designs adhere to project specifications and requirements.
Maintain and update design documents, ensuring their accuracy and accessibility.
Manage design revisions and updates, maintaining consistency across all project documentation.
Support the team with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for project management and communication.
A plus if familiar with US metrics (imperial system), ensuring compatibility with US-based design and planning standards.
Requirements:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDF tools, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Civil Engineer or Architect background preferred.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to ensure clarity in design instructions and updates.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
A plus if familiar with US imperial system.
