Job Summary
Job Title: Strategic Account Manager – Audio Visual Systems Integration
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to manage and grow key client relationships while driving new business opportunities within the corporate, enterprise, education, and commercial AV markets.
This role combines account ownership, solution-based selling, and proactive business development to support revenue growth and long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key enterprise and commercial accounts
- Build long-term client relationships at stakeholder and decision-maker level
- Identify expansion opportunities across AV integration, managed services, and support contracts
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact throughout the full project lifecycle
- Conduct regular account reviews and pipeline forecasting
Business Development & New Sales
- Identify and target new business opportunities within assigned territories and verticals
- Generate new leads through networking, outbound activity, and industry engagement
- Qualify client requirements and develop tailored AV solutions
- Support tender responses, proposals, BOQs, and solution presentations
- Collaborate with pre-sales and engineering teams to deliver technically aligned proposals
Project & Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with project delivery, design, and operations teams to ensure successful handover
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline reporting
- Support contract negotiations and commercial close processes
- Ensure customer expectations are aligned with technical delivery capabilities
Market & Industry Engagement:
- Monitor AV industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity
- Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings
- Identify opportunities for new service offerings and strategic partnerships
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in AV integration sales or strategic account management
- Strong understanding of AV systems, unified communications, collaboration technology, and control platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise-level accounts and complex sales cycles
- Excellent client-facing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with CRM platforms and structured sales pipelines
- Commercially driven with strong revenue and margin awareness
Desirable Qualifications:
- CTS or equivalent AV industry certification
- Experience selling managed services, maintenance contracts, or multi-site rollouts
- Background in corporate, education, or large-scale commercial integration projects
