Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Installation Engineer to join a leading provider of commercial and corporate audiovisual and smart technology solutions. This is a senior, hands-on role delivering complex AV, collaboration, and automation projects across offices, boardrooms, meeting spaces, and corporate facilities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the installation, configuration, and commissioning of commercial AV, collaboration systems, meeting room technology, and automation solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers, ensuring quality and efficiency on all projects.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation to ensure accurate delivery.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other contractors to ensure smooth installations and handovers.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and client training.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and corporate requirements.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in commercial or corporate AV, meeting room, or automation installations.
  • Strong knowledge of AV, video conferencing, control systems, and networking (Crestron, Extron, AMX, or similar).
  • Excellent fault-finding, commissioning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage on-site teams effectively.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
