Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project / Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of complex low voltage, audiovisual, and System Integration projects across both domestic and international locations. This is a senior role combining technical expertise, project management, and team leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Define project scope and objectives, developing detailed plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on or below budget.
  • Oversee all phases of projects, including preconstruction, construction, installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and meet project objectives.
  • Manage risk, ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Lead and mentor project and site teams, delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Track client schedules and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, including drawings, BIM models, process maps, reports, and other project records.
  • Utilize and continually develop leadership and problem-solving skills to improve project efficiency and quality.
  • Travel to project locations as required; off-hours or weekend work may be needed depending on international projects.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5–10 years’ experience in project management or construction, ideally with low voltage, AV, or home automation systems.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects, including new construction or retrofit projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Proficiency with project management software, technical drawings, and BIM modeling.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret system diagrams and architectural prints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make independent judgments.
  • Full UK driving licence; willingness to travel and work on-site as required.


Preferred Experience:


  • Managing low voltage systems in entertainment, performance, or large venue environments.
  • Experience with quoting, inventory management, and reporting tools.
  • Implementing innovative construction or installation techniques.
  • Supervising remote installation teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
