We are seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee the installation and commissioning of residential home automation projects. This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for technical delivery and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the installation, configuration, and commissioning of home automation systems.
• Deliver integrated solutions including AV, lighting, security, networking, and climate control.
• Supervise junior engineers and subcontractors to ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and other trades on-site.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and client handover.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in high-end residential AV or home automation engineering.
• Knowledge of systems such as Control4, Crestron Home, Lutron, KNX, or similar.
• Understanding of structured cabling, networking, and IP-based systems.
• Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior staff.
• Full UK driving licence.
