Job Summary

A leading provider of audiovisual, event technology, and technical production solutions is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of Corporate and Enterprise customers.The role is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing both existing and new accounts to drive revenue growth and increase market share. This includes implementing short- and long-term sales strategies, building profitable customer relationships, and positioning the business as a trusted advisor across complex technical environments.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Development & Account Management


  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase revenue while managing compliance, profitability, and sales channel development
  • Identify, qualify, and quantify customer requirements across AV, event technology, production, creative, digital, and technical event services
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, aligning customer objectives with appropriate solutions and services
  • Execute account penetration strategies, including expanding stakeholder relationships, securing customer meetings, and conducting sales calls, reviews, and strategic planning sessions
  • Identify and secure short-term opportunities while building long-term, sustainable revenue streams
  • Monitor industry and customer trends to strengthen credibility, rapport, and ongoing engagement
  • Progress accounts from vendor status to trusted advisor through consistent delivery of value
  • Provide input to marketing teams to support the development of relevant sales collateral
  • Attend industry events to gather market intelligence and support sales objectives
  • Support client onboarding and assist with invoicing and collections where required


Operational & Technical Collaboration


  • Communicate technical and operational requirements clearly to clients and internal teams
  • Review commercial proposals and quotations to ensure policy compliance
  • Maintain strong knowledge of product offerings and service divisions to support cross-functional delivery
  • Work closely with operations, engineering, and production teams to ensure high-quality service delivery, client satisfaction, and profitability


Key Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • 3–5+ years’ successful experience in sales and business development within a related technical or services-led industry
  • Strong ability to present confidently and professionally in both public and private settings
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service and relationship management
  • Experience developing technically and logistically complex proposals
  • Proven ability to create and execute tailored, strategic account plans
  • Experience networking with targeted customers at industry events
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on achieving and exceeding financial targets
  • Experience negotiating contracts within complex organisational environments
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • In-depth understanding of modern workplace technologies, AV, and UC collaboration solutions
  • Experience selling technical solutions and services into Corporate, Enterprise, and Government sectors, both directly and through partners
