Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Director of EPC and Operations, the Asset and
O&M Manager will provide financial and operational management and reporting
expertise to solar power generation facilities. The role focuses on safe operational
management, addressing technical issues, and maximizing net cash generation.
Responsibilities also include generating reports for each facility and managing
communications with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field; Master’s degree
preferred.
• Seven (7+) years of experience in solar power plant asset management or
operations and maintenance.
• Significant experience in operations or financial management, including contract
administration.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently on projects, data analysis, and
key deliverables.
• Strong interpersonal skills and capability to engage with senior management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly advanced skills in Microsoft
Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Willingness to travel (estimated at 10%).
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee asset management, operations, maintenance, and monitoring of solar energy assets.
- Perform all asset management duties to optimize and maximize the generation capacity of operational assets, ensuring their safety, performance, and reliability.
- Complete reporting requirements for operating assets within specified deadlines, both internally and externally.
- Supervise the work of direct reports.
