Job Summary

Account Manager – Manufacturing & Engineering (2 positions open)

Location: Manchester (Hybrid, 2–3 days in office)

Salary: Competitive + Commission + Benefits

We’re looking for a driven Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. You’ll be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of engineering and manufacturing clients, working closely with our technical and commercial teams to deliver exceptional value and strong, lasting relationships.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Have experience growing revenue across existing accounts — not just maintaining them
  • Are commercially minded with a solid understanding of engineering principles
  • Enjoy building long-term client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Work best in a structured yet fast-moving environment
  • Are based around Manchester and can attend the office a few days each week
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked within manufacturing, engineering, or digital platforms, or have hands-on CRM experience.

What you’ll be doing:

As an Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of the full client lifecycle — from new business development to ongoing account management. You’ll ensure customer satisfaction, drive revenue growth, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver top-quality results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Growing revenue across your assigned account base
  • Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts
  • Communicating clearly between clients and internal engineering teams
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships (including site visits)
  • Managing a high volume of professional communication across all accounts
  • Delivering excellent customer service and swift issue resolution
  • Keeping CRM data accurate and up to date
  • Developing tailored strategies to unlock revenue potential
  • Managing pricing, payment terms, and resolving disputes where necessary
  • Offering flexible solutions to support client needs
  • Promoting relevant upsells and cross-sells to increase account value
  • Collaborating with technical and operational teams to ensure seamless order delivery
  • Supporting team members and contributing to a collaborative culture
