We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Health & Safety Trainer/Consultant to join a dynamic team.

About the Role

As a Health & Safety Trainer/Consultant, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality health and safety training sessions (e.g., NEBOSH, SMSTS).
  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
  • Provide consultancy services to a variety of industries, including construction and manufacturing.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to uphold our reputation as a trusted HSE partner.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
  • Deliver practical, hands-on training sessions to individuals and groups.
  • Investigate incidents and implement actionable recommendations.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.


About You

You’ll be a self-motivated professional with strong communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualifications:

o NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety.

o NEBOSH General and Construction Certificates (eso SMSTS Certification (preferred).


• Experience:

o Proven track record in health and safety training, consultancy, or management.

o Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations.

o Background in construction or similar high-risk industries.


• Soft Skills:

o A collaborative approach to mentoring and coaching.

o Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

o Confidence in building client relationships and handling complex challenges.
