Experience
Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, enthusiastic, and thrives in an industrial or factory environment. Key requirements include:
Level 3 Apprentice-trained Electrician and ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
17th Edition BS7671 I.E.E Regulations (18th Edition preferred).
Testing & Inspection qualification (preferred).
Knowledge of PLC systems, AC Drives and Motors, and industrial low-voltage power systems.
Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), pre-planned maintenance, and Root Cause Analysis techniques.
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, plus the ability to design and implement simple electrical systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Swiftly responding to plant breakdowns, efficiently repairing equipment, and minimising downtime.
- Driving continuous improvement in plant performance, with a focus on safety, maintenance, and reliability.
- Maintaining and adhering to policies, procedures, and safety standards while carrying out electrical and control engineering maintenance
