Job Responsibilities
- Promote health and safety standards across all depot operations, ensuring compliance with company policies. Perform reactive and planned maintenance to maintain equipment capacity and value, contributing to the development of safe working methods. Address plant breakdowns promptly, ensuring temporary fixes are followed up with permanent solutions. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, keeping accurate records of all maintenance activities. Support and train operatives in inspection and maintenance tasks, ensuring plant availability through a structured PPM/PMR scheme. Ensure all plant and other defects are reported correctly and timely. Confirm the plant is complying with ISO 19001 quality standards. Comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies, highlighting any issues appropriately. Undertake additional duties and ad hoc projects as required by the business.
