Technical Skills

Proven experience in reactive and planned maintenance within a production or industrial environment. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safe working methods. Reliable, flexible, and responsive to the demands of a dynamic work environment. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with site management and operatives. Familiarity with maintaining up-to-date stores and identifying strategic spare parts to ensure continuous operations.



Job Responsibilities

  • Promote health and safety standards across all depot operations, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Perform reactive and planned maintenance to maintain equipment capacity and value, contributing to the development of safe working methods
  • Address plant breakdowns promptly, ensuring temporary fixes are followed up with permanent solutions
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, keeping accurate records of all maintenance activities.
  • Support and train operatives in inspection and maintenance tasks, ensuring plant availability through a structured PPM/PMR scheme.
  • Ensure all plant and other defects are reported correctly and timely.
  • Confirm the plant is complying with ISO 19001 quality standards.
  • Comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies, highlighting any issues appropriately.
  • Undertake additional duties and ad hoc projects as required by the business
