Our client is seeking an experienced Environment Manager to lead the governance, planning and operational management of our development, test and pre-production environments across both on-premise and Azure cloud platforms. Reporting to the Head of IT Delivery, you will play a key role in enabling reliable, high-quality software delivery across multiple products, teams and suppliers.You will define and evolve the environment management strategy, owning the full lifecycle of development, test and pre-production environments to keep them stable, available and delivery-ready. Coordinating environment demand, scheduling and capacity across teams and suppliers, you will drive standardisation and continuous improvement across the environment estate, working closely with DevOps, Testing, Architecture, Infrastructure and third-party partners to improve delivery outcomes.You will bring proven experience managing complex IT environments across multiple platforms and suppliers, a strong grasp of environment lifecycle management, SDLC and software delivery practices, and experience supporting both Agile and Waterfall teams. Strong stakeholder management, planning and problem-solving skills are essential, along with sound knowledge of hybrid infrastructure, including Azure cloud technologies.I
