Job Summary
A global leader in aviation services is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join its team in Sydney. This position will be equally focused on Industrial and Employee Relations (IR/ER) and supporting the global rollout of a new HRIS. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with employment regulations while also contributing to the implementation of critical HR technology solutions.
Experience
Proven experience in Industrial and Employee Relations, with strong knowledge of Australian employment law, enterprise agreements, and modern awards. Ability to manage complex employee relations cases and engage effectively with unions and stakeholders. Experience with HRIS implementation is advantageous but not essential. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner with senior leaders. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with Dayforce is desirable but not required.
Contract Information
This is a 12-month contract role with the potential for extension or permanency, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on IR and ER matters, including case management, workplace investigations, and union negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise agreements, modern awards, and Australian employment legislation.
- Partner with global HR teams to support the implementation of a new HRIS, including change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Develop and deliver training and communication strategies related to the HRIS rollout.
