This role will be responsible for managing their own caseload of young people on the Youth Guarantee Trailblazer ‘Full Potential’ programme, and for building good working relationships internally and outside of the council, as part of a team delivering an in-house employment support service to Southwark’s care leavers.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience supporting care-experienced young people (aged 16-25) into employment, or working with vulnerable young people, young parents, and/or those with English as second language.

The role will be based between our Care Leavers Hub (7 Talfourd Place, SE15 5NW) and our head office (160 Tooley Street, SE1 2QH). Both are well connected, with Talfourd Place a 10 minute walk from Peckham Rye train station and Tooley Street a 5-minute walk from London Bridge station. Due to the nature of the role, it is a full-time on-site position. Travel will be required to meet young people and employers within the borough.
