About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Senior Product Manager to help OUR CLIENT become the next crypto unicorn. This role offers broad ownership across the product stack: from smart contracts and frontends to APIs and internal tooling, you’ll shape the innovations that will power OUR CLIENT’S growth. As you build products that are deeply composable in DeFi, you’ll need to be both highly technical and able to communicate smoothly with partners, clients, and internal stakeholders. You should bring a deep understanding of modern DeFi protocols and a passion for delivering seamless web3 user experiences.

You will report directly to the CPO and collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Operations, and Sales to execute from product requirements through successful launches and ongoing product maintenance.

This role will involve writing technical specifications for smart contracts, front end, back end, and tooling. From experience, the best fits for these technical PM positions are people who can envision how they’d architect the features they’re defining, as if they were building them themselves.write a script in a Jupyter notebook if needed, and who can raise a webapp bug to an engineer after already debugging it in the browser console.

Key Responsibilities

• Own, scope, and drive multiple product initiatives from idea to launch and beyond.
• Identify growth opportunities and identify feature gaps, to then prioritize initiatives that will expand Midas’ market share.
• Work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Design, and Operations throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Define clear success metrics and ensure accountability for delivery.
• Stay ahead of DeFi trends and competitive dynamics to inform product strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. 4+ years of full-time product management or founder experience.
2. 2+ years of product management or founder experience within web3, ideally at a DeFi protocol.
3. Strong technical foundation (software engineering background).
4. Demonstrable ability to write, review, and debug technical product specs that directly inform smart contract and off-chain module builds
5. Direct integrations with EVM smart contracts as a product manager—not peripheral to or separated from protocol engineering.
6. Understanding of DeFi composability mechanisms and module risk dependencies (liquidity pools, oracle flows, collateral ratios)
7. Fluency in reading on-chain data and executing basic debugging (e.g., simulate calls in Foundry or Tenderly)

Bonus Skills

• Deep knowledge of DeFi protocols and ecosystems.
• Familiarity with smart contract development and blockchain infrastructure.
• Strong eye for frontend design with a sense for modern, elegant, and intuitive UX.
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, verbal and written.
• Fluent in English; a second language is welcome. We are a diverse team and value multilingual backgrounds.
• Familiarity with EVM tooling (Foundry, Hardhat, Ethereum RPC, Etherscan, The Graph) and data dashboards (Dune, DefiLlama) for analytics and monitoring.
