Technical Focus: Strong foundation in backend development; familiarity with modern languages, APIs, and scalable systems.

Nice-to-Have: No prior experience in emerging technologies like Web3 is required—we value diverse backgrounds and a passion for learning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend systems for Phoenix, with an emphasis on low-latency, scalable architecture and real-time data handling.
• Monitor system performance at micro- and nano-second granularity.
• Own initiatives from design through launch and ongoing reliability, collaborating closely with engineering and leadership.
• Adapt to fast-changing requirements and shipping cycles in a startup context.

Required Qualifications

Fresh college grads or up to 1 year experience experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems with low level skills (preferably in Rust, C++, C, Golang, Python, Typescript)

A. Experience working with blockchain technology, specifically Solana

B. Experience in quant trading or fintech

C. Proficiency in Rust or interest building in Rust

D. High-performance system experience (exchanges, trading, ad-serving systems)

E. Interest in DeFi and trading systems (passion not required, but intellectual curiosity is valued).

F. Proven work on systems, infrastructure, or trading/finance environments emphasizing low-latency and reliability
