About Our Client

Our Client is building the AI Crypto Wallet of the future, a wallet that thinks, trades, and protects alongside its users. We’re looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to design and scale the systems powering Our Client’s AI-driven trading automations, copy-trading groups, referral rewards, and intelligent onchain infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end: requirements → system design → implementation → deployment
• Architect and scale distributed systems for wallet infra, indexing pipelines, and trading APIs
• Build APIs and microservices that power Our Client’s trading, wallet, and referral systems
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate intelligent inference and automation into backend flows
• Work directly with Our Client’s CTO and founding team in a tight feedback loop
• Mentor peers, share best practices, and push for engineering excellence in a fast-moving environment

Required Qualifications

A. 7-12 years backend experience designing and scaling production systems

B. Strong knowledge of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)

C. Hands-on experience with wallet infrastructure, APIs, indexing problems, and/or trading systems

D. Startup DNA: thrive in ambiguity, bias for execution, comfortable wearing multiple hats

E. Node.js (preferred), with experience in AWS/Postgres; bonus if also worked with Golang

F. Crypto knowledge a must: built or contributed to wallets/trading products, or at minimum, active user of Metamask or similar
