The Opportunity and Responsibilities

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you'll be responsible for execution, both technically and culturally. You’ll be working on high-impact, user-facing products. Your work will be the first thing users see.

This is 100% a hands-on IC role: you’ll write code daily—no people management.

Our Client has ambitious roadmaps. We are building state-of-the-art token compensation infrastructure that bridges to the real world. You will be achieving technical goals, coordinating with the founders, and will be shipping code every day.

We are NOT building blockchain protocols, and do not need blockchain/crypto protocol engineers. Our focus is on scalable, compliant SaaS product engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales and product team on decisions and strategy. We expect a collaborative partner who wants to find solutions
• Uphold best practices around code quality, strong typing, and API design
• Establish best practices, ensuring that systems and processes are well documented to ensure the scalability of the engineering team
• Identify opportunities to improve existing practices and uphold Our Client’s high technical quality bar

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience at a venture-backed startup, preferably in fintech, payroll or similar companies.
• Demonstrated experience building and launching new front-end and back-end systems. (Not just maintaining/refactoring legacy codebases.)
• Proficient and active user of modern AI coding tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Devin, GPT) in daily development workflow.
• Experience shipping new products/features from scratch and iterating rapidly as requirements evolve.
• Longevity and “stickiness” in roles: preference for candidates with several multi-year tenures.

Bonus Skills

Experience founding a startup, building side projects, or leading key initiatives.

Experience working with financial data flows, payments, or tax compliance environments.
