Area Sales Representative - Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester
A distinguished manufacturer and distributor of decorative walls, façade claddings, soffit systems, skirtings, and floorings is seeking a dynamic Area Sales Representative to join their expanding team. Role Responsibilities:
- Product Focus: Specialise in façade claddings/boards, floors & skirtings, and decorative walls.
- Trade Policy Implementation: Define and implement trade policies, distribution, and marketing plans in the UK and Ireland.
- Business Development: Initiate and execute activities to develop distribution and sales channels.
- Field Work: Engage with all distribution channels, including distributors, DIY networks, shops, wholesalers, and contractors.
- Customer Service: Provide professional and efficient service to retain existing customers and attract new ones, in line with the distribution strategy.
- Sales Performance: Take responsibility for achieving sales targets and performance metrics.
Candidate Profile:
- Field Sales Enthusiast: A strong desire and drive to excel in a field sales environment, focusing on business development and new client acquisition.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales within the interior design, building materials, or technical sectors, in either B2B or B2C channels.
- Skills: Goal-oriented with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Language Proficiency: Intermediate or higher proficiency in English (both oral and written).
- Driving Licence: A valid driving licence is essential.
