Why This Role Stands Out: - Competitive Salary: Earn between £26,000 and £30,000, commensurate with your experience. - Structured Hours: Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with standard hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:30am to 5pm on Fridays. - Professional Growth: Engage in a role that values your expertise and encourages continuous learning and development. - Supportive Environment: Work closely with a Principal Partner, providing essential support and contributing to the team’s success. Key Responsibilities: - Document Preparation: Efficiently prepare correspondence and documents through audiotyping and word processing. - File Management: Administer daily digital filing, and manage the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files. - Client Interaction: Attend to clients both in person and on the telephone, ensuring a professional and friendly manner in line with the firm’s client care standards. - Diary Management: Make appointments, arrange meetings, and manage the fee earner’s diaries. - Team Support: Provide support to other secretaries and the administration team as required. - Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality of all clients’ documentation and information. Essential Skills and Experience: - Legal Secretarial Experience: Demonstrable experience within a legal setting, preferably in personal injury or civil litigation. - IT Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. - Language Skills: Excellent command of English spelling, punctuation, and grammar. - Attention to Detail: Acute attention to detail is crucial. - Typing Speed: Audio typing speed of 65+ words per minute. - Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills, including a professional and friendly telephone manner. - Case Management Systems: Prior exposure to Proclaim case management system is desirable. - Digital Dictation: Experience with digital dictation, ideally Big Hand, would be beneficial.
