Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 DOE

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Director to take full ownership of our manufacturing operations across workshop, paintshop, assembly and supply chain. This is a hands‑on, strategic role where you’ll work directly with the CEO to deliver a major operational turnaround and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

What You’ll Lead

Full operational oversight of production, planning, quality, safety and delivery

Transformation of workshop, paintshop and assembly performance

Lean manufacturing initiatives across the entire site

Supply chain, purchasing and inventory optimisation

Coaching and developing a high‑performing leadership team

Embedding accountability, efficiency and operational excellence

About You

You’re a resilient, results‑driven change agent with:

Senior operational leadership experience in manufacturing

A proven track record of operational turnaround

Hands‑on lean manufacturing expertise (5S, CI, standard work, VSM)

Strong people leadership and commercial acumen

The ability to thrive in fast‑paced, evolving environments
